What can I expect at the next event?

Our Mission

Our mission is to create positive, meaningful connections in the Columbus, Ohio community.

We do this through non-traditional networking events focused on topics that are meaningful, personally and professionally.

​Past event themes include: gratitude, generosity, purpose, risk, and ideation.

  • Authenticity. We believe we are here to connect, not to promote our interests. 

Our History

In September of 2016, Magic Sessions started as a group of ten entrepreneurs and side-hustlers. We (Autumn and Brandi) wanted to create a tightly knit community of folks whose work was diverse but had one thing in common: they had a passion for what they were doing and were interested in community-building and helping each other. 

It was such a great experience that on June 13 of 2017, we decided to have each of our friends invite a new friend, and we gathered for an event focused on gratitude. For the next year and a half, we hosted larger, quarterly events, each time growing our audience as our invitation list got longer.

In December 2018, Magic Sessions had done what we hoped it would do and decided to close shop.

However, in these unprecedented times, we need community now more than ever, so we're back! This time, events are free and open to anyone who would like to attend. In addition to being helpful to each participant, every Magic Session will support a cause and organization that a community member has chosen.

We're so excited to be hosting again, and we hope to see you at an event soon!
